"Flow to Me"

Flowing to Me (Spell and Ritual)

This is not a spell where I spoon feed anyone a step-by-step of how-to's, nor will I offer any list of things and items needed. I am opening a window so you can peer into and follow me along in my own workings in hope that it will inspire you and open a flood gate of understanding to your own possibilities and give you confidence in knowing that you can do your own workings, creating and manifesting.

The intent of this spell and ritual is to remove obstacles and start the continuous flow, building momentum of manifesting the energies set (established) during the workings. To be more specific, I want to remove any obstacles that get in my way of having all the necessities of "well being" manifested.

(In order to achieve this, I need to bring to recall, mind and heart, a moment when I felt myself to be in the "Well Being" state that I want to manifest.)

I have chose a platter large enough to hold all the items I am gathering that lend to my focus of helping me to recall the energies I want to set in motion and have them dominantly recorded into auto-pilot, continuously flowing toward and through me without my having to spoon feed and give constant attention them. So, I have chosen spheres and circles that remind me of continuance, ever flowing energy being directed along a never ending path, I have gathered a variety of different spheres to represent all aspects and all areas of manifested life.

I have a green candle that represents Earth and the physical manifestations coming forth from the unseen and hidden realms. I've used a blue (color of peace and comfort to me) five pointed star candle holder as the points remind me of all the elements guided by spirit. I have only one sharp pointer (sword) on my plate to represent that I will not be spoon feeding to the universe and powers in what specific way these energies are to flow in, I will not set obstacles of standards that limit and beg to be met before 'well being' flows to me.

I have included my "sweet eye" (natural wood eye that a sweet gum tree gifted to me) and a small downy feather to remind me that all of nature and creation stand watch and give ear to my mind and heart's desires. I've also chosen natural vine spheres to remind me that nature surrounds and nourishes me. I have placed my bottle of peace water on the plate to remind me of the peace, comfort and security I am bathed and nourished in.

I used a collection of old family coins and a piece of smoothed, almost shaped amber to remind me of all those that have and do desire 'well being' for me. I chose three smooth yet misshaped stones to represent the continuous seeds taking shape and life toward manifestation within my heart and mind, I chose a pink one for the things I love and a dark one for the things I fear as a reminder that both will manifest unbounded when my confidence of directing wanes.

I used road opener oil to anoint and charge my candle as I focused on the feelings of strength and full confidence I had achieved when I made the oil, I recalled that moment completely as the feelings washed over me. I then added one of my "come to me" mojo/jomo's.

Now I sit back and relax, (put some music on!) freeing my heart and mind to bring to me moments that were filled with "well being". I recalled completely standing on the shore, I felt my feet sinking into the embrace of the sand and earth, the absolute fun and joy of gentle waves rushing in to wash and caress me with a chill of excitement and awe. I recalled the complete ease of laying in the grass and watching the clouds attempt to entertain me, and they did on such a grand scale! I grabbed and suspended myself in that plasma of well being, the moments where there were no thoughts to concerns and worries of how? how? how? When the energy had overwhelmed me to tears, I anointed my hands with the tears, grabbed the flame, light the candle and held the edges of the plate as I whispered over and over, this, this, this, almost a hiss as I set, charged and programmed the vibration and flow to "constantly", even when I am at rest and unaware.

I did not use chants to help me with this working as I needed to feel and morph into the energies without distracting myself with outer speech, the only words spoke out aloud was my last say, "It is So" and "Thank you". I didn't sit with my workings as the candle continued to burn, I got up and went about my normal stuff-doing as this represents to me and all the powers that help and assist, that I will not place myself into the worry of how this is achieved and brought about, I will stay out of the way and trust fully.

Making "Dream Fluff" pillow stuffing with Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris)

Ground Mugwort (a.k.a. "Dream Fluff")  compared to Dried Leaf Mugwort

For those that are not familiar with this herb, Artemisia vulgaris, also known as Mugwort, Common Wormwood, and Moxa, it is a sacred herb to the Druids, Diana and Artemis. In ancient China and Japan, Mugwort was hung in open doorways to exorcise the spirits of disease. In ancient times it was believed that Mermaids came from the sea and gave humans the knowledge of Mugwort's supernatural powers. Roman soldiers placed the herb inside their shoes as a protection aid for traveling long distances away from their homes. One Roman general recorded that his men marched ten miles further, as well as faster, when on Mugwort. Native Americans also burned Mugwort as a smudge to purify the spiritual and physical environment.

Mugwort tea was usually drunk before divination rituals and also burnt as a ‘transporting’ incense. Store a small bag of Mugwort with any scrying tools and use an infusion of Mugwort to clean crystal balls and magick mirrors.

Mugwort is also used to enhance dreams, especially the prophetic sort and lucid dreaming, helps with remembering your dreams once you are awake.
To use in a sleep pillow or in a sachet under your pillowcase, grind the dried leaves and stalks into a soft fluff (see above picture on the left) as this helps to release the essential oils. Mugwort will puff like cotton fiber fill once it is ground making it easier to add other herbs as it captures and holds particles just like fiber fills do. If your sachet were to come open during the night it is less likely the herbs would end up scattered.
The best materials to use for sleep pillows and sachets are muslin, cotton or flannel, the thinner the material the better. Before you lay down to sleep, squeeze and gentle rub the herbs in the pillow or sachet, place to your nose and breath in a few times.

"Streets of Gold" Road Opener Prosperity Knot Spell

Materials needed:

  •  Dressed and blessed candle (Color suggestions: white, green or orange)
  •  Prosperity oil (Road Opener Oil)
  •  Prosperity herb powder (Road Opener Powder)
  • Green cord/twine (for tying verse knots) with one red bead and one green bead
  • Spell Verses  <Click for verses

Instructions:
Cast a circle or not, either way this spell will work. As with any workings it is best to perform your rituals and spells while relaxed and in a refreshed mind/body state. Choose a time and place where you will not be interrupted or feel hurried, you will need to be fully focused and given to this asking. This spell is designed not only to change the outer circumstances, but to also bind the negative inner/outer thoughts and feelings toward allowing the change to take place.

After you are ready and prepared to start your asking:

*Take time to pre-read the verses, read the first line of each verse together and then the second line of each verse together. Once you are familiar with the words continue on…

*Swirl the bottle of prosperity oil to stir and activate the herbs in it (three times deosil, three time widdershins), place a drop of oil on each finger tip of your left hand first, rub your finger tips together, then do the same with the fingers on your right hand. In doing this you are invoking the feminine (left) for asking and then the masculine (right) for receiving of the rewards. You are also anointing your hands to begin this work…

*Light your candle

*At this point you will begin tying your verse knots. The knots should be tied and located in this order:
-- 1--- 6 --- 4 --- 7 --- 3 --- 8 --- 5 --- 9 --- 2 --

Place red bead between 1~6, green bead place between 2~9

~Take your green cord and thread the red bead to the left side, tie your first knot behind the bead, say the first line only in the first verse.

(Lord and Lady in thee I trust…)

sprinkle small amount of herb into the candle flame

~Move to the right end of the cord, thread the green bead and tie the second knot behind the bead, say the first line only in the second verse.

(Open heart and mind, ready to receive much…)
sprinkle small amount of herb into candle flame.

~Continue tying each knot in the right order and saying the first line to each corresponding verse, then sprinkle herbs into the candle flame.

*Once all your knots are tied, they are ready to seal, in the same order the knots were tied, dip (or drip the wax on) each knot and say the second line to each verse.

~Dip first knot (By knot of one, the spell has begun…)
~Dip second knot (By knot of two, the spell comes true…)

Continue on to the last knot and verse, once all the knots are sealed your words of being open, heart, mind and hands to receive are also bound in the knots. If you should ever need to un-bind these knots and words, un-tie each knot in the same order you tied them in (the red and green bead will mark which end is which).

Place your knot cord in a safe place for keeping where no one will stumble upon it. Burn any written spell instructions or scrolls to ensure that none can find the words you bind! Bury the ashes with any remaining wax.

If your candle has not be spent (burned up), you can snuff it out for burning later, burn a little each day until it is finished (make sure you anoint you hands with the oil before relighting), then wrap any remaining wax and the scroll ashes in tissue paper and bury in the earth.

Home Protection Spell Charm

House into home,
I raise this protective dome
within no negative may roam.

No need for a great tome
Burn a black candle
Til' it all be gone

Van Van oil with soapy foam
Sage like a fine tooth comb
Dragon's blood to drown all drones

Hang the besom with some bone
Call the ancestors with an invisible phone
No reason to work it alone

Ring the bell in ritual tone
Welcome the black bird's song
My house is now a home.

Me and You, You and Me, Rekindle Spell

Me and You, You and Me
Add red roses to some tea
Jasmine will do for a key

Cinnamon hot, the honeysuckle knot
Vanilla sweet, honey sweeter
But not the whole liter!
If without and in doubt
Ginger and sugar makes for a wicked pout'

Swirl these deosil as a tether
back the widdershins "Come you hither"

Periwinkle under the bed
with a rose quartz very well fed
Sandalwood or ylang ylang will get you all kinds of poo'tang
But powdered dogwood removes all falsehoods

Behind the bed curtain we do retrieve
Freely given and freely recieved
So mote it be

Dogwood Wish Spell

Dogwood for Wishes
This spell was found at:  Magickal Herbalism
(Posted by  Fen Alraun)

Dogwood is the tree of wishes! A dogwood flower is an excellent charm to bring about wishes. Here is a spell from the Lewellyn Publishing website from 2009:
"To make a wish come true, collect three red dogwood berries, a dogwood leaf that has also turned red, and a few pieces of bark. Place all of these items on a piece of white fabric or in a pouch, and tie it up with red yarn. Speak words of power affirming your wish over this magic bundle. Pass the bundle above the flame of a red candle. Extinguish the candle and hide your magic bundle until you receive your wish."

Ritual Scentz Van Van Oil

~ BLESSING A NEW HOME, HOUSE CLEANSING ~

Home-cleansing methods are of great importance in hoodoo folk-magic.

Here is a simple procedure for blessing a new home and ridding a house of any unwanted spiritual influences.

Wash down the wood work and floors with Chinese Wash (or Van Van Oil in water) from back to front and out the front door and throw the remaining wash water out the front door or in the front yard. If there is no front yard, carry some of the wash water to the nearest street intersection or crossroads and throw it to the East.
Then use a brand new broom to sweep the house from back to front and out the front door.
Some also like to sprinkle Van Van Powder at the front threshold and sweep that away from the house.

After cleaning as above, put down pinches of salt in the corners of each room or, if you are in a hurry, four pinches of salt at the four outside corners of the house.
